This is the Master Plan for residential development on Duck Creek South, land that was formerly used as holes 1-9 in the Duck Creek Golf Course
Porirua City Council and the Whitby Residents Association have agreed that this design with its walkway links, reserves and roading connections will enhance the community of Whitby. Construction of the first stages with a total of 84 new sections known as Parkview, Leadline Place and The Ponds will progressively take place over the next 4 years.
Please note that the 2 hectares of land beside Adventure Park (coloured pink) is designated for a new commercial/retail zone and has been purchased by Foodstuffs Ltd. Their initial plan is to relocate and upgrade the existing New World supermarket. Foodstuffs will then develop new retail and commercial premises on the balance land as demand develops.
